Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile image through our authentication provider (Clerk). We also collect content you submit — such as chat messages, community posts, and comments — along with usage data like the number of AI queries you make each day.

We do not collect payment information. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve the Corbit service
  • Enforce daily usage limits and tier entitlements
  • Send notifications about activity on your community posts and comments
  • Respond to support requests

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted on cloud infrastructure. We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data. Authentication tokens are managed by Clerk and are never stored by Corbit directly.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing pockyleeeee@gmail.com. Community posts and comments you have authored may be anonymized rather than deleted to preserve thread integrity.

6. Third-Party Services

Corbit uses the following third-party providers, each with their own privacy policies:

  • Clerk — authentication and identity
  • Supabase — database storage
  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI responses to your queries
  • Vercel — frontend hosting

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app announcement. Continued use of Corbit after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
